Speed Deviation Fault (F9)

Possible Causes & Checks

• Confirm the controller speed command matches the controller speed feedback.

• Confirm the controller speed feedback matches the drive speed feedback.

• Verify the contract speed configured in the drive matches:
  SETUP → SPEEDS → CONTRACT SPEED

• Adjust drive parameters if values do not match.

• Reduce S-Curve values if necessary.

Doors Front Failed to Open (F102)

Troubleshooting Steps

1. Put the car on inspection.

2. Command the doors to fully open.

3. Identify which front door signal is not indicating “open”
   (GSW, DOL, DCL, DPM, Locks).

4. Check door open time against:
   MAIN MENU → SETUP → DOOR SETUP → DOOR STUCK TIMER

5. If the door open time exceeds the timeout, increase the timer value.

CPLD Communication Loss (F219)

General Checks

• Inspect CN2 network wiring for miswiring.

• Verify CT/COP toggle switch position is correct for each board.

• Confirm DIP switch 1B:

  • CT board: OFF

  • COP board: ON

If Communication Loss Is Between COP and CT

• CT CPLD fault LED: Flashing

• MR CPLD fault LED: Solid

• Measure voltage at CT board:

  • CN2+ to REF ≈ 2.88 V

  • CN2– to REF ≈ 1.95 V

If Communication Loss Is Between CT and MR

• MR CPLD fault LED: Flashing

• Measure voltage at MR board:

  • CN2+ to REF ≈ 2.88 V

  • CN2– to REF ≈ 1.95 V

Clearing Latched Faults

If the controller is stuck in a non-normal mode (Fire Phase I, Earthquake, etc.):

1. Verify all required inputs are properly connected.

2. Turn DIP Switch 1 ON.

3. Press the RESET button on the SRU board.

4. Turn DIP Switch 1 OFF.

Car Running Backwards

Correct Motor Rotation (Magnetek Drive)

1. Press Right Arrow until Configure C0 appears.

2. Press Down Arrow until User Switches C1.

3. Press Enter.

4. Scroll to Motor Rotation.

5. Press Enter, then Up Arrow to toggle:

   • Forward ↔ Reverse

6. Press Enter to save.

Checklist

• Confirm MM input is jumped to M24 through the run button.

• Verify controller displays Construction Mode.

• Check for active faults:
  MAIN MENU → FAULTS → ACTIVE FAULTS

• Attempt to move the car using Enable + Up/Down.

• Enable construction box:

  • MAIN MENU → SETUP → MISC → ENABLE CONSTRUCTION BOX → ON

• Use the construction box to run the car.
